Duplicate Commander is a file manager designed to find duplicate files on your computer.
You almost certainly have tons of duplicate files on your computer – usually from Internet temporary files and downloads. With Duplicate Commander you can select the folder you want to scan, and set up a few filters to refine the search.
Among the filters you can use in Duplicate Commander, you'll find exclusion lists for folders and also for certain file types. The program is quick and easy to use, though the interface design would benefit a lot from a redesign.
Once the scan is finished, Duplicate Commander displays the results in a neat list, organized by size, and gives you the possibility to choose between comparing and erasing them, among others.
If you need to recover hard drive space, try searching for duplicate files with Duplicate Commander and you'll be surprised by the results.
